Use Government Resources to Report Your Experience
ATTORNEY GENERAL
Find information about your state Attorney General on the Department of Justice's website: www.justice.gov or by calling the National Center for Disaster Fraud at (866) 720-5721. The Attorney General's office can guide you on legal actions, assist in recovering losses, and offer advice to prevent future scams.
FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION
Make reporting fraud easy by visiting https://reportfraud.ftc.gov. The FTC provides resources and guides to protect consumers from falling victim to fraudulent activities.
FBI
Exercise caution online with information from the FBI's website: https://www.fbi.gov/how-we-can-help-you/safety-resources/scams-and-safety. Report scams or crimes at https://ic3.gov/ and collaborate with international law enforcement agencies to investigate and shut down global scam operations.
Better Business Bureau
